Aunque en teoría son libros orientados a un público "más joven", lo cierto es que me disfrutado de su lectura, especialmente en el caso de El Hobbit. Cuando era más crío conocía de la existencia de esta serie por referencias de amigos y a todos los gustaba pero a mí no me llamaba tanto la atención la fantasía como lo hacía la ciencia ficción, así que no llegué a leerlos nunca. Posteriormente, cuando se publicó la Trilogía del Anillo en los cines, me gustó la historia pero me sentí totalmente perdido entre tantos personajes con nombre e historias extrañas. En aquel momento decidí que tendría que leer los libros... así es como llegué a este punto.
Para alguien que no conozca nada de la historia, recomiendo que vea primero la serie de películas y después, pasado algún tiempo, lea los libros para sacarle el máximo jugo a toda la historia. Desde luego, los libros son mucho más completos e interesantes que las películas, pero la espectacularidad de las imágenes en éstas hace que valga la pena empezar por ellas.

Resulta extraño tener que decir hasta pronto nada más empezar a conocer a ciertas personas. Dicen que no hay mal que por bien no venga y creo que no ha sido un esfuerzo baldío, ni personal ni profesionalmente... sin duda será un hasta pronto.
Lo celebramos en el MOMA oyendo entre otros a Alicia Keys pero, aunque para mí todo era nuevo, no... no estábamos en Nueva York ;-)

Seguimos con las coincidencias porque esta canción la oí en su versión más elegante en el trabajo, cuando otra despedida se gestaba, rodeado de varios compañeros. Recuerdo haber llegado a casa aquel día y haberme puesto a buscarla. Siempre digo que la música puede ser la diferencia entre un momento normal o bueno y un momento especial o excelente (ya lo mencioné en el pasado)... recuerdo aquel día en el trabajo, aquel momento, a los compañeros que estaban allí, todo... simplemente por esta canción.
